Thirty—you were amazing,
you were life-changing,
you were one the best years of my life.

Thirty-one?
Let’s 1up thirty, shall we?

Today is my 31st birthday.
Goodbye thirty.
Hello “I’m in my thirties.” 😂

I could be saddened about the thought of getting older.
I could be disappointed about where I am today
in life as a thirty-one year old.
Maybe it is not where I expected or hoped to be.
But today, instead of sulking around about my growing age,
I want to choose gratitude.

I want to be thankful for thirty-one.

God’s goodness and faithfulness
are written all over the past thirty years of my life.

Each day has been a gift.

Some of those days have been filled with joy.

Some of those days have been filled with extreme pain.

But I know that regardless of what I was feeling,
the Lord was using the events of that particular day
to orchestrate something beautiful in my life.

I may not see the beauty now.
I may never understand.
But I know that He is working in my life
for my good and for His glory.

Let me tell you that no matter what circumstances you are in right now, there will always, always, ALWAYS
something to be thankful for.
So, let us be thankful and live a more
joyful and blessed life.

Now here’s a challenge I want all of us to make.
Write down at least 5 things you are thankful for
before you go to bed.

Do this 30 days straight.

After that, compare yourself today and 30 days from now.

Discover how much impact and difference
gratitude can do in your life.
